Date£º2009-5-3 11:09:00 Total£º[711] click [Print]

In April, I had a shelling trip of three weeks in South China. Here are some pictures to share with shell lovers

Stops are marked in green in below map

Shanghai -> Xiamen of Fujian Province ->Haikou of Hainan Island -> Beihai of Guangxi Province-> Changsha of Hunan Province -> back to Shanghai

My first stop is Fujian province, below is Hushen gulf.

Umbonium shells in beach, all alive

The second stop was Hainan province,  I went to a famous Mangrove reserved area and got many shells.

The Mangrove are very well protected.

Guangxi province is my third stop, below shows the fisher boats in Beihai

Beach in Beihai, Guantouling

Mangrove in Beihai. I got at least 60 species in Mongrove in this trip and will put them on website later.

Beach in Jinhaiwan, the intertidal can be 10 Km wide.

Before I  returned Shanghai, I dropped to Hunan province and got many Clausiliids. All shells obtained will be put on my website later.
